Buckey O'Neill is a minor character in Clarence. He made his first appearance in "Fun Dungeon Face Off." He is the mascot of Rough Riders Chicken. He was fictionally portrayed as an unknown guy in a Buckey O'Neill costume.

Appearance

He has fair skin, black eyebrows, and a broad, square-shaped chin. His hair and mustache are white.

He typically wears the Rough Riders military uniform, which includes a brown hat, a beige cavalry jacket with a dark-blue collar, a dark-blue belt with a golden buckle, brown gloves, greyish pants, and black boots.

Trivia

• He was in fact a real person. (The same goes for the Marx Brothers.)
• In the show he was shown as an older man, but in reality he died at only 38 years old.
• Buckey O'Neill's appearance, including his uniform, is apparently based on Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States and leader of the Rough Riders volunteer military forces.
• The Rough Riders franchise name is a reference to the Rough Riders volunteer military unit that fought in the Spanish American War of 1898.
• It is unknown who played Buckey O'Neill in the commercial/video for Rough Riders Chicken.
